Ecological Pathway

This is an environmental training program aimed at children and young people of school age in the communities neighboring our companies. We will guide them through a path that will lead them to a respectful contact with nature, promoting the planting of trees and the care of plant life.

Medical Brigades

This social assistance program provides underserved communities with preventive health care. We provide logistical support for health days and preventive education of diseases, training the members of the community so that they are participants in social development.

Healthy Homes

As part of the program of medical and social assistance to communities, we offer underserved families in Honduras the possibility to improve their quality of life, through the inclusion of healthy floors, ecological stoves, bathrooms and water tanks for the accomplishment of domestic tasks.

Healthy Floors

“Healthy floors” is one of our flagship programs through which we have benefited up to 1,070 families from the south of the country to install polished concrete floors in 234 homes that had dirt floors, leading to better health and hygiene conditions which especially favor children living in these places.

Olive Ridley Sea Turtle

We have supported the protection and conservation programs of the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle for seven consecutive years. To this day, more than 400,000 turtles have been released in collaboration with other private sector companies, government institutions and fishermen in the area.

Water Supply

We deliver more than 15,000 gallons of water weekly to the Municipality of San Lorenzo, benefiting more than 15,000 people who would, otherwise, be affected by droughts throughout the year.

Ecological Pathway

Elementary school students receive environmental education by visiting the ecological pathway we have designed and prepared for children to learn the importance of protecting and conserving the environment, plants and animals.

Let’s Plant

It is a collaboration agreement signed between the company Lufussa and the Institute of Forest Conservation, Protected Areas and Wildlife (ICF) with the aim of planting one million trees to restore the basins and micro basins affected by pine bark beetles.
